can you clarify what you mean here, what is "event video" vs "recording" in general, using the reolink config in the docs is recommended |

With event review I mean the „review section“ in the web interface of frigate. With recording I mean viewing the recorded files on hard disk with e.g. VLC. So when I view in browser (doesnt matter which one) there is always that stuttering. But when I look at the actual files they look good. Also live view of the cameras is without stuttering. For the detect stream I am using the reolink config though, but for the recording stream I want the full 4K resolution and that is only possible with the rtsp stream and not the http reolink stream. |

it's possible that vlc is doing some smoothing. In general these are fairly common issues with reolink cameras specifically. Reolink support sometimes has unreleased firmware updates that fix known issues like these |

Describe the problem you are having
Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my two Reolink RLC-811A cameras. Sadly I don't know exactly when this started to happen.
But the first problem is that in the event review in frigate the video is stuttering every 1-2 seconds so these videos look very chopped off. On the recordings there is no stuttering.
The second problem is that in the event review and also the recordings on hard drive the audio is massively delayed.
When restarting frigate, audio is in sync for a while, but after a few minutes it starts to get out of sync again. I don't know if the stuttering and the audio delay are related.
With the other camera, a Hikvision, there are no issues at all.
