[Config Support]: can't get H265 stream correctly

Describe the problem you are having

I installed Frigate via Docker on a NUC with an N100 processor and Debian 12 OS.
I have no issues capturing streams using the H264 codec, but I’m running into problems with the H265 codec.

Specifically, I’m testing a Reolink Duo 2 camera that offers both an H265 high-resolution stream and an H264 low-resolution stream.
I’ve attached my config.yml, which I copied from some online examples without fully understanding it, so there’s definitely room for improvement.

The issues:

• I can see the overview correctly, but when I open the single-camera view, the stream appears completely gray on desktop (I’m using Google Chrome, which should natively support the H265 codec). On mobile (Google Chrome for Android), the stream works, but it’s very slow to load.
• I can’t play recordings: on desktop, it keeps loading indefinitely, while on mobile, I get the message "PIPELINE ERROR DECODE".
  If I switch to the H264 stream, I don’t have any issues, but the stream is in low resolution so it's not a solution.

I'm not sure this is really an issue related to Frigate itself, but any advice would be very appreciated!

At the moment, I’m not interested in object detection—I’d just like to get live viewing and recording working properly.

This might be an issue with the reolink stream directly where the browser is failing to playback. You can use chrome://media-internals to get logs about what is failing

Yes, I understand that it would be inefficient. What do you mean by using go2rtc? Can you point me to an example configuration?

Adding the "video=h264" should do the trick, but I get an ""[rtsp] error="streams: wrong response on DESCRIBE" message, suggesting that the rtsp address is wrong

you need to use # not | and it should also have a #hardware at the end so it uses the GPU

Now I can see the hi-res stream both on desktop and mobile.
Still, I have two issues:

• I get the alert "reolink-camera has high FFMPEG CPU usage" (around 45%)
  So I think there's still room for optimization!

My fault! It actually works, but it needs several time to load the recordings. I suppose it is because the file is very large in h264 codec, so I need to optimize it. Actually, at the moment I just save the stream without resampling.

Do you mind posting your final solution if you have one please? I've ran Frigate for the last year with my duo2 without problem but since upgrading to the latest beta I'm having issues. I've changed the hardware accel settings as per the release notes and can see the duo 2 live feed without issue but it won't load when I try to view history, just an infinite loading wheel. Significantly more errors in the logs too for the camera. No problems with the Reolink poe doorbell or other random eufy cam since upgrading.
