Revisit Slack Logger

I hit a big issue with app.utils.log.SlackHandler early on during HC. I can't remember exactly what happened but the SlackLogger was exploding with a very weird response and causing the whole site to 500.

Just a note to look at SlackHandler and see if we can reproduce / fix this issue (sorry for crappy info)
