Describe the bug

Date for all photos is displayed as January 1, 1970

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Installed on Ubuntu
  • Browser chrome

Used app version:
-docker install as recommended. onto Ubuntu

I will need some more info to debug it.

Can you send a problematic photo?
Which app version are you using? :edge or latest? please try it on edge.

If you're in doubt on how to install the edge version instead of latest, all you need is to ALSO alter this line:
https://github.com/bpatrik/pigallery2/blob/master/docker/docker-compose/default/docker-compose.yml#L17C31-L17C37
so you use bpatrik/pigallery2:edge-alpine instead of bpatrik/pigallery2:latest. There are other edge versions as well, you can see them all here, along with their release date:

https://hub.docker.com/r/bpatrik/pigallery2/tags

  • as you can see "latest" is 9 months old

@super-nathan I have this issue from time to time as well while adding new photos. For me I solved it to re-write the data to the images affected. After re-indexing, the date is correct.
