OSCAR Q&A Guidelines

This is a space to ask any questions and discuss common issues about using Oscar (Ocean State Center for Advanced Resources) - Brown University's high performance computing cluster.

Tips and Information

1. Search before you post - Before posting a new question, search the forum to see if your question has already been asked and answered.
2. Provide detailed information - When asking a question, provide as much information as possible about your problem, including any error messages you may have received, the software you are using, and any relevant system specifications. Screenshots can also be helpful.
3. Do not share any confidential or sensitive information - Such as passwords or other login credentials.
4. Upvote useful responses and mark best answers.
5. Threads should only be closed if the question is outdated/irrelevant. Closed threads are not deleted and can be searched using the search filters.
6. Duplicate posts will be deleted.
