Philosophy

A comprehensive belief system and control system.

A Philosophy is the control system of the Entity.

Explicit Philosophy

Explicit Philosophies are communicated through writing, stories, conversation, etc. An "adherent" is heavily influenced by the Explicit Philosophy. An Explicit Philosophy is often a simplified model that is more limited (due to having to be communicated) to the amount of nuance than an Implicit Philosophy would be.

Implicit Philosophy

An uncommunicated philosophy. An Entity will have an unique Implicit Philosophy, even if that entity is heavily influenced by an Explicit Philosophy. An Implicit Philosophy tends to be more nuanced than an Explicit Philosophy & have more paradoxes.

An Implicit Philosophy is analogous to a neural network. Neural Networks have observable inputs and outputs to a signal, but the internal logic is often complex & unknown.
