I get an error when I run the following...

$ git open-pr
git: 'open-pr' is not a git command. See 'git --help'.

But if I do this it works.

$ open-pr

This is problematic because I'd like to create an alias with...

git config --global alias.pr open-pr

But when I do this I get the same error...

$ git open-pr
git: 'open-pr' is not a git command. See 'git --help'.

Am I missing something?
