From the folks at Astral.sh there's already a hook for ruff in git-hooks.nix.

We could be adding uv, which is currently in nixpkgs-unstable.

From the README in uv repo:

An extremely fast Python package installer and resolver, written in Rust. Designed as a drop-in
replacement for common pip and pip-tools workflows

Installing the Trio dependencies with a warm cache.

Also - I want to work on this addition in case this request is approved 👍.
