In principle: no. You should be fine with the same setup you have been using. However, the fact that you are probably going to be running the sidecar on the same machine means you're running two processes and therefore need more address space. The sidecar also does some more I/O for its own purposes. So in practice, it's a good idea to bump up your RAM and disk space a little, particularly if you have been running at the bottom end of the range of compatible specs.
