So much of the application relies on communication with Firestore; as such, I'd like to mock the database and improve test coverage. I believe this is a Firestore emulator so it should be a matter of configuring it, setting up test data, and creating test tables.

Not 100% confident on the process here but happy to look into it moving forward.
