From compiled latest on Linux (arch), I see the following:

The Cannot open audio: ALSA: Couldn't open audio device is combined with a popup message:

Sure enough, I can't get audio to play despite everything else indicating it should work fine.

My questions is how does SheepShaver detect the system's audio device? I have pipewire-alsa v1.2.5 installed, which should act as a 1:1 compatibility layer.

I see the same exact behavior for Basilisk, I'm updating the title
