It seems that Depth Buffer access is not possible with this game. Is this caused by the same thing that prevents depth buffer access from working with Breath of the Wild?

I'm curious the efforts required to make such a graphics pack. This is a big game and the engine would definitely benefit from the ability to run things like RTGI shader by Marty McFly in his iMMERSE Pro shader set.

Additional context
Attempted Reshade 6.3.1 with Vulkan and OpenGL. It's able to lock onto buffers for the effects, and basic effects working with the individual frames work fine (like color, adding bloom, etc). However, anything attempting to access depth sees no data whatsoever.
