Seeing this and akin error messages pop up quite a bit in my logs:

2024-08-23T23:17:14.033Z ERROR bifrost::z2m > [server1] Event loop failed!: SerdeJson(Error("unknown variant `hs`, expected `color_temp` or `xy`", line: 0, column: 0))

Ohh, you have a hs-only light!

I don't have any of those, so I haven't been able to test.

Are you on discord?

In any case, it would be very helpful to have a z2m dump - see this comment for a description

If you can get me one of those, we can get it fixed

@medelman17 also, I have a hs-color-mode branch here:

https://github.com/chrivers/bifrost/tree/chrivers/hs-color-mode

It should at least support parsing the z2m update messages. It will not handle hs mode completely, but it should still be able to turn them on/off and set brightness.

Can you give it a try, and see how well it works?

Also, try the master branch. Lots of improvements since this issue was opened :)

@medelman17 Have you had a chance to try this since?

The "dev" branch should have a fix for this, but I'd like someone to test it, since I can't try it myself.
