🚀 Feature Proposal

For each instance that currently gets a VNC connection, create an additional Guacamole SSH-only connection.

Motivation

If an assessment user does not require GUI access to an instance, they can use the SSH-only connection, which should (in theory) have less latency and be more responsive to keystrokes, thus improving the overall user experience.

Pitch

If you don't need all the bells and whistles of a VNC connection to an instance, this gives our users a more lightweight and potentially more responsive option.
