We discussed updates to the Operating Authority application, including clarifying requirements for holders and points of contact versus drivers.

Updates from the Meeting

• Clarified differences between holders and drivers for the operating authority application
• Determined holders do not need to provide driver-specific documents like CDLs
• Reviewed vehicle information section and attachment requirements based on vehicle type

Remaining Updates to Do

• Provide example of proposed rate of fare information to include (Step 1)
• Add Secretary of state office link to (Step 2)
• Remove question about years of Texas residency for holders in (Step 4 - Authorized Person)
• Update "Is this vehicle a..." question to be a multiple-choice instead of yes/no
