I found that using the VCC from the ST-link port didn't give me enough current to run my ESP module, so soldered a wire to one of the LCD header pins for 5V instead. You can't use the ST-link port as another serial port as far as I know. The pins on the CH340G is probably the most accessible for that. Do change the baud rate to 500k at least (might need some code change beyond the config files, I think I have them in my fork). I got pauses/blobs on the print otherwise when it came to curves that needed lot of gcode throughput. |
