This folder contains thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential thermal analysis (DTA) data for the compounds NaNbO2F2 and NaTaO2F2. The data is organized by compound and experiment cycle.

Overview of the Data

The dataset is divided into two main folders for NaNbO2F2 and NaTaO2F2, with each folder containing the raw TGA/DTA data files from multiple heating/cooling cycles.

Folders and Data Structure

  1. NaNbO2F2

  2. NaTaO2F2

Methods

Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential thermal analysis (DTA) were conducted on ~56 mg samples of NaNbO2F2 and NaTaO2F2 powders using a TGA/DTA Q600 SDT TA Instruments apparatus. Experiments were carried out under an argon atmosphere at a flow rate of 100 mL.min-1, using platinum crucibles and α-Al2O3 as the reference material.

  • Heating Process:
The samples were heated from room temperature (RT) to 300°C and 600°C, with heating and cooling rates set to 10°C.min-1.

Data Acquisition

The raw data was collected as .003, .004, and .001 files for the thermogravimetric measurements, accompanied by corresponding .txt files for each cycle, which contain the numerical data. The raw datasets can be visualized using TA Universal Analysis software.

Raw Data and Experiment Cycles:

Requirements

To acquire, analyze, and visualize the TGA/DTA data, you will need the following:

  • Equipment Requirements:

    • TGA/DTA Q600 SDT TA Instruments apparatus (or equivalent for similar experiments).
    • Access to TA Universal Analysis software for viewing and processing the data.
  • Data Analysis Software:

    • TA Universal Analysis: Required to visualize and analyze the raw data files from the TGA/DTA experiments. You can download this software from the TA Instruments website.
