[Action] Create a list of CNCF Communities & Outreach for Cloud Native Sustainability Week

As part of our efforts to make Cloud Native Sustainability Week 2024 a success, we are compiling a comprehensive list of CNCF communities and initiating outreach to encourage participation in hosting meetup during the week

Outcome

By connecting with diverse communities across regions, we aim to onboard more participants and organizers for Cloud Native Sustainability Week. This effort will foster engagement and collaboration towards sustainable practices within the cloud-native ecosystem.

Hi @Nancy-Chauhan - here are a couple of ideas:

• I can pull a list of the chapters that participated last year, and you can reach out to them via their "Contact Us" button on their chapter page to see if they are interested in hosting again.
• Or (and this one will take longer) - we can wait until we get more opt-ins for the global newsletter and when I send a monthly newsletter to the organizers I can plug this initiative

Hi @Nancy-Chauhan - per our Slack conversation, I have created a list of chapters (not previously having hosted a Sustainability Week meetup) in the regions of Asai and the Americas.

While I cannot provide contact information for each organizer, column G has a link to each chapter. I recommend you use the "Contact us" button which will email all organizers. You can of course, have a generic copy and paste message to help speed up the process.
