PROBLEM: It's annoying to not be able to read the description and watch the video at the same time, especially when there are timecodes or lyrics in the descritpion

SOLUTION: Add an option to move the description to the side bar, like there is for the comments. If both options are checked (comments and description moved to sidebar), maybe add a button at the top of the sidebar to toggle between description and comments, or just display the description above the comments.

ALTERNATIVES:

RELEVANCE / SCOPE: everyone

"SIDE EFFECTS": None that I can think of

CONTEXT:
//
Thank you!

hi! @Bubser

  1. i liked an extension with 10000 users long ago that had this
  2. i heared / was shown a sometimes, that YouTube is also experimenting with this. CleanShot 2023-09-11 at 18 11 06@2x
  • This means we can use ctrl+U to find out which of youtube's "experiment flags" (over 800) might do this. (might have an obvious name. (else, do you still get this in any account @fharper or saved it by chance?)
    • We didn't try to change any of these flags yet, and if it works, possibly it only works with firefox' webrequest.filterRespondeData
      • however it would be nice: like 800 features? (especially if some of these last)

(so both labels are not to make it less likely somebody works on it, just more informed)

hey @fharper! :) sorry, it is not obvious/documented for example, how to make youtube show the description on the side.
but we can try this rather than writing our own version for @Bubser, hence my question (=did youtube still give you this? then you could inspect the DOM (or CTLR+U) to show us the code of it)
