Moderators Kim Pham and Nancy Fong covered a range of topics during the 1.5 hr discussion, diving into some real talk about working with open source software solutions (Islandora) vs vendor solutions within a library context, with benefits and challenges highlighted with specific use cases and examples. The group participants also shared their experiences in the finer side of project management: managing expectations with clients, the importance of requirements gathering within a library environment, managing change in service policies and processes.
