Are there any comparisons between "Synopsys ASIP Designer" and "OpenASIP"?

Dear OpenASIP team,

Thanks a lot for this interesting project. I just came across "OpenASIP" and the capabilities of the project seem very promising. I am very curious to know if there is a list of differences b/w "Sysnopsys ASIP Designer" and "OpenASIP"?

Hi @manili. There's no such exhaustive systematic list. It used to be that EDA tools didn't allow publishing a lot of their functionalities.

The most apparent unique aspect is likely the use of TTA as the processor template, and of course being completely open source.
