Have you tried https://github.com/crankyoldgit/IRremoteESP8266/tree/master/examples/IRrecvDumpV3 to see what it reports. If it handless the main features of the remote correctly it can be added to the list for the protocol it reports. If not the data needs to be collected by someone with the remote to be able to decode it, I think this should all be covered by the FAQ already? |

Hi. First of all, thanks for sharing this, it's an incredible piece of work. I came to it from a wish to control my Fujitsu A/C locally. I have tried a Sensibo Sky device, which works petty well, but I am not a fan of cloud-based systems. I have built an ESP8266 based gadget with an IR shield, and it is flashed with firmware based on your library. The firmware comes from the excellent MppDevices home automation system, which I use quite a lot. Anyway, it can see and decode data from the hand-held remote, by specifying FUJITSU_AC protocol (33). However, the actual model numbers of both my aircon and my remote are not on your lists, and I have seen the warning about locking up the aircon controller by selecting the wrong model. So the question is - is there any likelihood that support for later models may be added at some stage? My aircon is a model ASTH24KTNA, and the remote is a model AR-RPDE3. The system was only installed a month or two ago.
