Per 26 February 2024 meeting, @walkerlj0 suggested that there might be some value in encoding encrypted credentials that could be later used to claim authorship in content.

@walkerlj0 agreed to research and report back to the group on possible mechanisms for implementing this suggestion.

@scouten-adobe is there a format (written, GitHub issue, etc) that these proposals are typically presented with, and might I see an example of a previous one?
Give me a couple weeks as I am travelling for work this week, thank you.

@walkerlj0 no formal mechanism. Would you be willing to present your findings/recommendations in a future WG meeting? If so, just let me know when you are ready and how much time you'd like me to reserve.

Per 21 October 2024 CAWG meeting, moving out of 1.1 milestone. Will discuss when we bring up autonomous signing mechanisms after 1.1.
