Is there a particular reason why this filter is taken away when Viewer created event is created. However this filter is available when Viewer arrived event is being created.
I am assuming that until the viewer says anything in to chat (Viewer arrived) we cannot determine the role. Therefore cannot apply viewer role filter on Viewer created event.
Having said that, I have seen Firebot put viewers in to Known Bot role. How does it do that? What determines it being a bot?
If we have the filter for Known Bot, then it will save me writing additional code to envoke assignment of role on Viewer created and/or take actions against Known Bot.
I have done a search through pull requests asking for Ban Manager but thats as close as it gets. I just wanted to know the reason behind design decision to limit the filter and validate my assumption.
