Our Linux package was never intended for fresh Linux users, it was provided mostly so that I didn't have to run it from source, and it is provided as is. Our main userbase is Windows users, and this also goes for the support through Github or our Discord. Due to the amount of different Linux distros out there we don't provide more than a tarball for Linux as most users that have used Linux for a little bit knows how to handle a tarball.
