There's a standard alternate interpretation of the Basal Ganglia in terms of go/no-go, and some research has found neat individual differences in the two paths. I think there's a chance that the standard GurneyPrescottRedgrave model might demonstrate some of these features, even though it's not generally formulated as a go/no-go system.
