@eob @jessmand @oliversong We need to figure out what we mean by a website.

When you want to zip a website or save a website, does it mean that you want to save that particular page and its assets, or do you want to download everything that is reachable (via links) from that page?

How does naming change a website? If you save a zipped version of a website, have you now branched into a completely separate website? Is your localhost version of a twitter different than what you get from www.twitter.com?

In my opinion, every time someone does a save, they are creating a new webpage. Edits on top of that webpage are just changes to the underlying webpage that they have "branched".

Thoughts?
