A log blocking a path is pretty important to know on a bicycle, but they're simply not shown.

They should be rendered from zoom 17 https://github.com/cyclosm/cyclosm-cartocss-style/blob/master/amenities.mss#L8-L17. See #105.

What do you know—sure enough, they're there. But, against the dashed line of the path, they're almost completely invisible. I can't see them unless my nose is 10 cm from the monitor. I'll change my complaint to "barrier=log is effectively invisible". Logs are generally much larger in real life than many other barriers and deserve a larger indication on the map, anyway.

Please, provide a minimal example, a link to the place which is having issue so we can debug and improve style.

Sure, a picture is worth 1000 words. This example is at https://www.cyclosm.org/#map=17/49.36708/-121.37260/cyclosm One of these trails is blocked by not one but two logs. Can you tell which? Another trail on the map has a barrier=swing_gate, but it's much less of a challenge to see that.

Here's one of the logs blown up 5×. Even at that scale it still takes a moment to see it.
