As the title says, when going back to the article list coming from an open article I consistently lose the scrolling status and I am brought back to the top of the list.
sometimes I also get the splash screen when coming back from the browser or if it is a github repository from the github app, in this case it rarely loads and I have to kill the app and restart it.

My device is a google pixel 8 pro on the latest software.

Hi @dave-palt,

Thank you for this report. Do you have reproducible steps for the splash screen issue?

Splash screen issue steps:
Open article
Read post
Open in browser (I use an app called linkeye which let's me pick whichever app can open a specific link and for these links I mainly open with firefox)
Go back to the app

Most of the time it shows the splash screen, sometimes opening multitasking and going back at the app unlocks the splash screen and sometimes it unlocks itself.
I feel that regardless of the splash screen being locked or unlocked it always loses the navigation/scrolling which is the worst part.

No battery saving settings enabled either.

Hi @dave-palt ,

Thanks a lot for logging this issue, we managed to resolve two separate issues from investigating this report.
I'm not 100% convinced it solves the same issue you are experiences, but if you could give it a go, would love to hear if it's improved now?

I just tried again and it is still happening, I did not have a cliend update though so maybe I need to wait for the new version to be available and try again (?)

I just came here to report the same bug on android. Scrolling goes back to top after viewing an article and it's really annoying.

Also, shouldn't the title begin BUG: here?

@corte, can you share reproducible steps please? I'd like to see if it's the same as mentioned above.
I use the android app on a daily basis and can't reproduce it on a regular setup
