Android app scrolling status is lost when an article is opened for a while or in a different browser. #1413

Hi @dave-palt, Thank you for this report. Do you have reproducible steps for the splash screen issue? |
Splash screen issue steps: Most of the time it shows the splash screen, sometimes opening multitasking and going back at the app unlocks the splash screen and sometimes it unlocks itself. No battery saving settings enabled either. |
Hi @dave-palt , Thanks a lot for logging this issue, we managed to resolve two separate issues from investigating this report. |
I just tried again and it is still happening, I did not have a cliend update though so maybe I need to wait for the new version to be available and try again (?) |
I just came here to report the same bug on android. Scrolling goes back to top after viewing an article and it's really annoying. Also, shouldn't the title begin |
@corte, can you share reproducible steps please? I'd like to see if it's the same as mentioned above. |
As the title says, when going back to the article list coming from an open article I consistently lose the scrolling status and I am brought back to the top of the list.
sometimes I also get the splash screen when coming back from the browser or if it is a github repository from the github app, in this case it rarely loads and I have to kill the app and restart it.
My device is a google pixel 8 pro on the latest software.
