[Question]: size limits?

What is your question?

After reading the documentation and the issues I can not find anything that would explain why fabric just stops mid-sentence and when I try to use translate-pattern on a 1.1M file. The output file is only 29K.
The command I used was
cat megafil.clean | fabric -p translate sv > megafil.sv
-Are there size limits on how big of a file that can be processed by translate or why does it just stop like that?
