In situations such as the one at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:XHHY_MIA93.9FM_logo.png it would be neat with an option to crop a previous version of a file instead of the current one without having to revert the file first. Low triage I guess but so that I don't forget about it, I file this as a feature request.

The edit comment I guess would be something like "Cropped version as of 13:00, 24 April 2018 (UTC) …" so that a reader knows that the current version wasn't the cropped one.
