I can see there's an issue with the SeriesRenderer when it handles 470000 points.

Another goal of the SeriesRenderer data reduction is to pick up all the use cases of the "huge scatter" rendering mode. I was reminded that the data in the maps outlines doesn't reduce properly, but could. See http://autoplot.org/data/coastlines.zip/coastlines/namer-pby.txt in Autoplot.
