Update dbatools and keeping only the latest version using Update-Module and Uninstall-Module

Here is a one-liner to get the latest version from the PowerShell Gallery and then remove all the old versions from the system:

Update-Module -Name dbatools ; Get-Module -Name dbatools -ListAvailable | Select-Object -Skip 1 | ForEach-Object -Process { Uninstall-Module -Name $_.Name -RequiredVersion $_.Version }

Or if you like more shorter lines:

Update-Module -Name dbatools
Get-Module -Name dbatools -ListAvailable | 
    Select-Object -Skip 1 | 
    ForEach-Object -Process { 
        Uninstall-Module -Name $_.Name -RequiredVersion $_.Version 
    }

Run this in a fresh elevated PowerShell session.
