modify_caption() update to accept a vector?

The gt::gt(caption) argument accepts a vector of captions, but we restrict to a string. Can we also accept a vector? Do the other tabling engines accept vectors?

It looks like a vector of captions in flextable leads to a duplicate tables.

mtcars[1:2, 1:2] |> 
  flextable::flextable() |> 
  flextable::set_caption(caption = c("one", "two"))
