I insert a USB pendrive and open a window.
I click on a sample icon and perform “Leave Out” - NOTHING HAPPENS.
I remove the pendrive and insert it again - the icon appears on the desktop.

Now there are two scenarios:

a. Without closing the pendrive window, I remove the pendrive.

  • The icon disappears from the desktop.
  • I insert the pendrive again, and the icon reappears.
  • I click on it and perform “Put Away” - it disappears, everything is fine.

b. I close the pendrive window and remove the pendrive.

  • The icon disappears from the desktop.
  • I insert the pendrive again, and the icon reappears.
  • I click on it and perform “Put Away” - NOTHING HAPPENS.
  • I open the pendrive window and perform “Put Away” - STILL NOTHING HAPPENS.
  • I remove the pendrive with the window open - the icon disappears (it did “Put Away” because it doesn’t pop up again when I insert the pendrive next time).

The ‘Leave Out’ and ‘Put Away’ actions should behave the same way for a USB drive as they do for an HDD.
