So I can write a cron job to start the recorder, and I suppose I can end the session after a specified time in that cron job, but it would be nice if the kiwirecorder had an input to specify how long it will record.

Just wondering what it might take to do things like this.
Again, thank you for your sharing this neat program.

Should not be a big issue if you don't want to be too precise wrt the time span. I'll see what can be done about it. :-)
