.NET Core 3.1 EOL

As of December 13, 2022, .NET Core 3.1 reached end-of-life (EOL). As a result, Docker images for this version of .NET Core will no longer be produced.

Details

• Remove .NET Core 3.1 Dockerfiles #4170

All tags beginning with 3.1 will no longer be maintained. The tags will continue to exist but will not be updated with any further changes.

Affected Repos

• dotnet/sdk
• dotnet/aspnet
• dotnet/runtime
• dotnet/runtime-deps

This also results in none of the images in the old "core" repositories being maintained due to 3.1 being the last version that was maintained in those repositories. That means these repositories are obsolete and unmaintained:

• dotnet/core/sdk
• dotnet/core/aspnet
• dotnet/core/runtime
• dotnet/core/runtime-deps
