I've been facing a lot of headaches with Jupyter themes. I installed Jupyter themes and successfully applied the theme; however, every time I open a Jupyter notebook on my Ubuntu, it displays the default theme. I don't know how to get rid of that. I hope you'll understand and guide me.

for me it only changes the output of the command, the other theme settings are taken from the light / dark theme of jupyter notebook.

notebook 7.1.2
jupyterthemes 0.20.0

edit: on notebook 6.0 it works fine

Same issue. Only the output is being themed, and it stays this way after uninstalling jupyterthemes, ie, it applies the last selected theme to the output. Jupyter’s build in themes Light or Dark don’t overwrite it. 'jt -r' has no effect, even after deleting the cache or ctrl+r.
