Seeking New Maintainers #1331
Comments
Hello! I am not sure I can take it as a maintainer, but I would this project to live further, since it was appreciated very high by community and this project is awesome. If no one comes, I would like to become a maintainer of this project, so that we can update dependencies, apply best practices and further develop/contribute to it. |
@aibolik Thanks for the offer! I will give it a couple more days to see if anybody wants to step up, since it sounds like you'd like to help but perhaps not be the sole maintainer. If nobody does, I could at least provide you with contributor rights. |
@davezuko okay, I'll try to do my best. |
@aibolik I have extended collaborator rights to you, if you are still interested: https://github.com/davezuko/react-redux-starter-kit/invitations. |
Is this still being maintained? |
There have been a few forks of this repo which have been somewhat modernized. Unfortunately the one I was looking at has been set to private or deleted. The main thing this repo needs is an upgrade to React Router v4, React v16, and switching the the test suite to Jest and Enzyme. I've done these on our production copy of this repository to stay up-to-date. Otherwise, this project is still really good and serves a purpose imo. Our team ported most of the code from this repo into an ejected create react app, keeping the benefits of the application's architecture, but also getting the benefits of improved tooling. |
I've been using it successfully for the past 14 months on a production app, and am about to start a new gig, and would be looking for something similar again to start me off, I think Jest definitely looks like an improvement on the testing story, but create react app doesn't have redux built in out of the box.. so I'm rambling, but I guess thanks for a great job, it served me /us well, and would be great if it continued |
Hi all, sorry for being out and not maintaining it, as I should. I also was using these project for almost a year, and it was really one of best experiences I have ever had with react-redux. @NathanCH, I am not sure if you made PR, but I am happy to work on it. I think you have pretty "fresh" version of this, let's try to merge it. It would be great if we could update the codebase, so that all dependencies will be up to date. Looking forward for contribution. |
It's been pretty clear for a while now that my priorities are elsewhere, and despite the deprecation notice I recognize that there are users who are still interested in using and maintaining this project. For that reason, I am open to accepting new maintainers and providing commit rights. If you are interested, please let me know by commenting below.
Thanks!
