This package provides a stand-alone server that delegates LDAP requests to Crowd.

The main objective is integration of legacy appliances and network equipment to your Single-Sign-On Environment based on Atlassian Crowd.

Limitations

• Authentication can only be achieved through a BIND operation
• The current implementation is read only and provides:
  1. Users; and
  2. Groups

Usage Example

Often, not all of your authentication data is available from a completely unified directory. Atlassian Crowd provides a homogeneous authentication source, no matter how many different internal and external directories are actually configured "behind" it. Consequently, a simple LDAP frontend allows to use this homogeneous source from LDAP enabled clients for authentication and lookups.
