Context and Problem Statement

Which is the minimum python version that should be supported?

Criteria

Open.

Options considered

  • keep support for older versions 3.8 or 3.9.
  • use newer versions 3.11 or 3.12

Decision Outcome

Chosen option: Use newer version 3.11.
As the project is just starting from scratch we should take the chance to leverage more modern language features.
