🐞Switching tabs too fast and too often causes strange behaviour

Description

Occured on INT during R24.08 testing in Firefox:
When switching between the tabs Sent and Received on the page quality notifications too often and too fast, the application continues switching until the user navigates somewhere else or refreshes the page.
This only happens on the quality notifications page, the tabs on the dashboard don't have this problem.

Expected behavior

I would expect the application to stop switching tabs after I stop clicking on them. If I switch between the tabs often and fast, I expect the application to try it's best to play the animations and keep up but once I stop I want it to finish the last animation and then stop.

Steps to reproduce the Bug

1. Go to quality notifications
2. Switch between Sent and Received fast and often, then stop
