I believe that we shouldn’t use the test sources to place the TCK files. This just adds an additional setup to run the TCK, plus these tests are not meant to be executed from the project directly.
Actually, if we try to update the surefire plugin, the build fails because the tests are executed. The only reason why is not failing at the moment is that the current surefire plugin is not picking up the testng suite files (which the new surefire versions do).
