When compared to office applications like PowerPoint or the Adobe Acrobat reader, the use of the [spacebar] and [esc] key in the Thorium Reader is different and quite possibly inconsistent with what an average user might expect. Whereas other products use the [spacebar] to move forward in a document, in Thorium the [spacebar] initially does not respond, but after maximizing once, can be used to alter between maximize and startup screen size. For maximizing, other applications typically use a key stroke combination (e.g. [Crtl-L] in the Acrobat reader), and for going from a maximized screen back to startup size the key can be used.
There might be a good reason for having different keyboard behaviour. However, if there is no pressing reason, it might be worth reviewing whether/how to bring the application more in line with other applications that users work with on a Windows 10 system.
How to reproduce:
To be in line with other applications, hitting the [spacebar] in steps 3,5,6, and 8 should lead to a page turn (Right). Hitting the [esc] key in step 7, should lead to the maximized app going back to startup screen size.
