Song resumes from start, not paused position

Jello 0.0.46, iOS 17.4.

I was playing songs from an album view, using the Shuffle button to start playback. I had to pause playback in the middle of one song and switch apps, when I returned and pressed play Jello started playing the song from the beginning instead of the last position (which was correctly retained on the progress bar).

When I tried to reproduce this, I actually couldn’t resume playback at all. The play button changed to a spinner and eventually timed out. I could go back to the album list and press Shuffle again, which worked immediately.

Network lag shouldn’t be a consideration here, I’m on the same LAN as my Jellyfin server.
