Large "S" meter, signal level display request for use in transmitter hunting

First, Thank you egzumer for your sharing the Quansheng firmware work!!

Would it be possible to create a firmware version that had a very large S meter display for use when transmitter hunting??
This would allow easier signal level display when using a directional antenna while trying to determine direction to the hidden transmitter.
