This issue seems to explain the problem. Podman environment is not detected properly and dependencies are installed to or looked from incorrect location. I'll try adding the PYTHONPATH environment variable to my HA container. |

Before opening an actual issue I'd like to see if I'm missing something obvious. I'm using HA 2024.11.1 and installed Home Connect Alt with HACS. After restarting HA, trying to add the integration shows the error "Invalid handler specified". HA logs show error "no module named 'home_connect_async'". I'm running HA in a container, if that has any impact.
I found this issue, which has been simply closed with the statement that HACS doesn't manage requirements. Should I somehow install home-connect-async manually?
