Speed up toggleFields

Hi, is it possible to somehow speed up toggleFields?

I've a rather large form with a lot of dependencies.
I've created the complete form and hide some of the fields (about 15 to 20) with toggleFields so filters are inactive until i need them. If one or more of the fields are required i toggle them back by clicking a checkbox or similar entry.

Problem is, that if i hide all the fields from start, loading times increases from 1.5 seconds to about 6.7 seconds. Is it possible to speed up the process of hiding several fields at once?
