Appears to be specific to Windows, Linux is unaffected and exits gracefully.

I'm also on Windows 10 and this doesn't happen for me, the delay is only about 1/3 of a second after I press the button. Tested on objdiff 2.3.4 with all 3 available graphics backends.

Not really sure why this happens
I've restarted my computer a few times since opening this and it does still happen

If I build this same version from source, would that potentially give any logs or other indications?

As of v2.5.0 (current latest), objdiff no longer takes a long time to close, but instead now takes a long time to open
Actions that cause the app to restart itself (e.g changing graphics backend), the app restarts quickly. Manually closing/killing the process, and reopening still takes an incredibly long time (estimating about 30 seconds to launch)

Occasionally when attempting to close the app, it will fall into a "not responding" state before actually closing
