I found a problem where, when I two connect [r @hv_param] to a [+] and want to have the one trigger the calculation with a [t b f] it doesn't work.

here the freq parameter can't control when I upload to Heavy, but i works in PD.
Got around the issue with packing the two floats together and that works.
If the left inlet is connected to something that is converted from a signal through [snapshot~] it also seems to work with the [t b f] and [+]

I believe, at the moment the [+] object (or any of the arithmetic objects) don't support the bang message. Your workaround would be the "correct" way of working around it.
